Bani Ahuja is a qualified Occupational Therapist, registered and in good standing with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from McMaster University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and Psychology.


Bani has worked in the MVA sector since 2011, and has extensive experience with hospital discharge planning assessments, attendant care assessments, treatment planning, case management, catastrophic determination situational assessments, and medical legal reports. Her practice areas include acquired brain injury, chronic pain as well as mental/behavioural impairments post-motor vehicle collisions.


Bani is a Certified Canadian Life Care Planner from the University of Florida, and since 2015 has completed over 40 life care plans for cases spanning the scope of orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, chronic pain as well as mental/behavioral disorders. At present, her practice largely focuses on Life Care Planning along with completing situational assessments for catastrophic determination, along with psychotherapy focusing on post-collision mental health diagnoses.


Bani has been qualified and accepted as an expert witness in the courts of Ontario as an Occupational Therapist.
