BIO:

Pooja has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2010. She has international and Canadian experience in adult subacute, community-based rehabilitation. Pooja is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. She is qualified and registered to practice in the province of Ontario and is a Registered Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer for seating and mobility with the Ministry Of Health and Long Term Care, Ontario.

Pooja graduated from Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Occupational Therapy, India with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and attained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University, USA. She has experience with assessments and treatment of individuals with physical, cognitive, and psychological impairments.

Pooja regularly attends courses, conferences and seminars to update her skills and expertise in assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention. She is trained in conducting catastrophic assessments and has successfully completed the C-CAT Certification Examination offered through the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment. She holds the designation of C-CAT (FO).
