Evie Cowitz has 28 years of experience working in the vocational and rehabilitation field. Her experience has included coordinating the needs of children and adults with a broad range of disabilities with a focus on catastrophic injuries. Evie also works with both short and long-term disability clients, insurers and lawyers.
She has been writing and training staff to write Future Care Cost assessments/Life Care Plans and supervising them for over twenty years. Evie participated in a Life Care Planning Summit in June 2011 and worked on developing a Canadian exam for Life Care Planning Certification in March 2019.
Evie is a past President of the Canadian Chapter of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRAC) and a past president of the Canadian Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP). She is currently the Chairperson for the Council of Presidents and is on the Executive Board of IARP. She is also on the board of directors for the Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP).
