9 Week Virtual Wellbeing Workshop Series
Living with post-concussion syndrome can impact every area of your life. From the physical symptoms like headaches, fatigue or memory issues to the emotional ones like the feelings of isolation, loneliness and despair, it can be a long and frustrating roller coaster ride of progress.
Learn to Thrive with Post-Concussion Syndrome is a unique well-being workshop series that helps people who continue to have symptoms at least one year after a mild traumatic brain injury. You will join a group of concussion survivors in a transformational experience that equips you to deal with the many highs and lows of your healing journey.
Lina and Arvinder created this interactive workshop that combines their life experiences in helping people with brain injuries and concussions. As someone who sustained a concussion in 2018 and is still experiencing symptoms, Lina understands first-hand the frustration, challenges and isolation that come with the slow recovery of post-concussion syndrome. She led a program to help survivors effectively change their outlook and have more joy in life.
Arvinder brings 25 years of knowledge and expertise in working with brain injury survivors from her occupational therapy practice PiOT. PiOT’s experience working with clients, adjusters and lawyers with motor vehicle accidents ensures that this program meets the reporting requirements of medical-legal cases.
The Learn to Thrive with Post-Concussion Syndrome workshop is the perfect complement to your existing rehabilitation program. It incorporates education, evidence-based practices and support that have proven, lasting results for many concussion survivors who have completed the program.
This isn’t another support group. It’s a community of people who understand your struggles but also share in your experience as you learn practical tools together from day one that will help you thrive once more.
The medical, legal and co-ordination requirements of any assessment can be time consuming and stressful for both you and your client. Here’s how our simplified process works:
Receive group coaching to help you integrate these strategies and improve your mindset, mood and your day-to-day experience.
Have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers. Support from the facilitators as well as a community of people who share in your experience. Feel connected, heard and understood in a safe environment.
As a part of the program you will receive a pre- and post-program assessment to evaluate the changes in your function, relationships and happiness levels. This report will be provided to you and your rehabilitation team at the end of the program to help you to continue to use the tools you learn from this program.
Our experienced intake team will meet with you on the phone for a 20-minute intake interview. They will assist you to apply for funding through your motor vehicle insurance company and co-ordinate payment directly upon approval.
You will receive scientifically proven tools to help you learn different habits, coping strategies and help you engage in the hands on activities.

People with post-concussion syndrome continue to experience concussion symptoms after a 6 month period. Symptoms vary for each individual, however some of the common ones are headaches, dizziness, fatigue, cognitive problems or sensitivity to light and sound. These symptoms persist for months after a traumatic brain injury and can significantly impact a person’s quality of life.
Online via Zoom.
Tuesdays from 1pm- 3m EST | March 1 – April 29, 2022
We encourage anyone all over North America to enroll. Participants must be experiencing post-concussion symptoms from a traumatic brain injury that happened at least one year ago.
Many individuals experience a concussion and have symptoms that go away after a few months. But others may continue to experience symptoms for a much longer period of time. This space is created for people who have come to understand and accept their longer-term recovery process and the added challenges that come with that.
Each group is limited to a maximum of 12 members to ensure we can provide you with specialized support and coaching. We find that this is an ideal number to allow the group to connect well with each other, build trust and comfort, and create a community where everyone feels they can share and belong.
